I had the pleasure of visiting Salsa during their opening weekend and I was blown away! The food was incredible — full of flavour and beautifully presented, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I can’t wait to return and try the rest of the menu. Wishing the whole team every success!

"Wish I lived closer" would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone and everyone, got a table quick and easy on a Saturday early evening, greeted by freindly quick and efficient staff with a good knowledge of their menu and options. Great atmosphere as the place started to get busy with lots of deals on cocktails and options to choose from. The menu has a wide range to suit all dietary requirements, wants and needs and each dish delivered some amazing authentic flavours at a great price. As a meat eater myself I was amazed that my favourite dish of the evening was the crispy cauliflower wings. Will 100% be coming back and bringing family and freinds to try. Just what Penrith needed. Thanks Salsa and keep up the good work

Had such a lovely time at Salsa Bar & Bistro! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Katie and Niall really made the experience stand out — they were both super friendly, attentive, and just genuinely nice people. It’s always a bonus when the staff seem to actually enjoy what they’re doing, and it made us feel really well taken care of. The food was great too — everything we ordered came out fresh and full of flavor. You can tell they put care into the dishes, and the portions were just right. Whether you’re in the mood for something light or a bit more filling, there’s a good mix of options on the menu. We didn’t feel rushed at all, which made it a really relaxing evening. It’s the kind of place where you can hang out, enjoy good food, have a few drinks, and just have a good time. Definitely planning to come back again soon!

We visited Salsa on Saturday night and enjoyed a great meal and drinks with friends. I’d recommend the hot honey spicy margarita, I’ll certainly be returning for another! The chicken and beef nacho dishes were delicious, as well as the cheeseburger tostadas and the halloumi tacos. Can’t wait to come back and try more, it’s a must visit when in the area.

Our very first time eating at Salsa and it was absolutely amazing. Food was full of flavour especially the beef birria and the seabass dish. The Mexican food is very authentic and everything we ate was really tasty including the cheesecake and tres leches tiramisu. Service was great, staff were really friendly, we were a table of 8 and they couldn't do enough for us. Overall we had a 10/10 experience and we all said we will definitely be returning!

Came in for dinner after hearing about the new menu and how great it is for gluten free options! Staff were lovely and the food was delicious, had a mixture of small plates and mains and everything was great! Will be back again!

We visited Salsa this weekend as it was the opening weekend under new ownership and WOW - what an evening we had! The cocktails were delicious especially the spicy margs! We were a group of 10 and the food and service was fantastic! There’s a wide range of authentic dishes to choose from, all of which were delicious - the hispi cabbage, beef birra and Seabass being particularly stand-out. We can’t wait to return and try out the rest of the menu, and the extensive tequila selection too!

We enjoyed a wonderful meal at Salsa during their opening weekend this evening! So great to see some authentic Mexican food in Cumbria! The highlight for me was definitely the fish tacos; they were absolutely outstanding. Crispy, fresh, and bursting with flavor, they had just the right balance of spice and zest. Don’t miss out on the hispi cabbage or crispy pork belly either! Staff were welcoming and accommodating throughout the meal and attended to us as we needed with a smile, the atmosphere was warm with traditional music. Amazing!
